Welcome to Kiwanis Club of Newington! We are probably best known for the weekly Sunday flea market we run each spring and fall. Through the flea market we generate funds for scholarships and donations to a variety of community organizations.
Newington Kiwanis had made plans to end our flea market as of October 26, but several community members have recently applied to be members with the express purpose of continuing the market. No decision has been made yet but one will be made by the end February 2026. Resuming the market seems within reach.
We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are devoted to serving the children in our local community and also children all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.
As we continue on past the 70th anniversary of the founding of our local club, we seek new members to continue and extend our fundraising and volunteer efforts into the future.
